Hawzah News Agency- The event, convened by the “Popular Campaign for the Support of Palestine and the Causes of the Ummah,” was held in a show of unity with Iran—its people, government, and leadership—amid ongoing threats posed by U.S. and Israeli policies in the region. The gathering also highlighted unwavering support for the resistance movements and the people of Gaza, as well as broader solidarity with Palestinians and Lebanese communities affected by occupation and aggression.
During his address, Sheikh Al-Rifa’i conveyed a message of peace and collective solidarity on behalf of his organization. He emphasized that the Popular Campaign fully endorses the decisions and positions adopted at the meeting, which aim to protect national interests while upholding the dignity and honor of the Arab and Islamic Ummah.
“The unity of our nations and our steadfast support for justice and resistance remain central to our mission,” Sheikh Al-Rifa’i said, underscoring the importance of continued cooperation between Lebanon, Iran, and all groups defending Palestinian rights.
The gathering serves as yet another demonstration of the deep-rooted bonds between Lebanon and Iran, reflecting a shared commitment to regional stability, sovereignty, and the rights of oppressed peoples.
